Now it's raining

Just a day ago I was sweating riding my new bike I got for an early birthday gift.  Now it is raining and cold outside....geez..  Well it just means more scrapbookin' and card makin inside.  Saturday was World Card Making Day and I did manage is sit down and make a few thank you notes for a Christmas boutique that I will be vendoring in November.   Here is a fun layout too of a page I made from one of my favorite companies...BO BUNNY.  Hope everyone stays dry!!!

Still hot outside....

Wow...still so hot...I am sweating in my craft room, but working away on new layouts all the time. Just finished a christmas layout that I will be shopping around to instruct a class on.  Let me know what you think.  The papers are from K and Co. and the die cuts are from my local scrapbook store.  The poinsettia was made by die cutting two flowers then layering one over the other and accented with gold stickles.  I just love stickles!!!

Braving the Heat

It got up to 107 degrees at my place in Mission Viejo yesterday.  I was in my scraproom scrapping and sweating.  I've been working on Christmas cards for a Holiday Boutique that will take place on November 13th in Rancho Santa Margarita.  I'll post some pics soon.  But before we get into Christmas, my favorite holiday is next...HALLOWEEN. Here is a fun halloween layout that I will be teaching at on October 30th at Perfect day scrapbooking in Huntington Beach.

The Weekend is here

Yeah....It is so hot outside....I just finished a "fun" layout and put it on etsy.  I really like the colors...it could also double for a valentine's layout....so I guess if it doesn't sell on etsy i can change it to valentine's and see how it goes.  I am hoping to do a class at Debra's cottage soon...as soon as more Christmas paper becomes available.  Have agreat weekend and stay cool!!!

First blog

Hello all...I am starting this new blog to show off my creative side....not that all of you want to see it...lol.  It's just another thing to add to my list of things to keep me busy from going crazy...I will post stuff about my kiddo Erik, and stuff from both of my businesses,  Simply Adorable Creations (which is owned by my friend and neighbor Stephanie Kratochvil (see us on our facebook page) which makes handmade and mostly one of a kind greeting cards. We have been fortunate to have clients like Rascals to Rebels in Huntington Beach and Little and Little Bohemian in Laguna Beach.  Pam's Papercrafting is my business where I stretch my creativity a little more to make paper bag scrapbooks and one of a kind layouts that I sell on Etsy.  Well that's all for today...of to my real job...working with special needs preschoolers.  Have an AWESOME day.
